Are there blackout dates for MVR members?
During certain events, riding may be limited for MVR members. MVR members will be notified via e-mail and text prior to event. Off-limit areas will be marked.
What hours can I use the property?
As a guest, you may use the property from 9 am until dusk. MVR members have unlimited access, unless otherwise noted.

If I don’t need to park a vehicle on the property, how much does it cost to ride on the property?
There is NO charge to be on the property; but, you must sign the appropriate waiver prior to, or as soon as you enter. The only cost is to park on the property.
Can I use the Moose Lodge or Beaver Cabin?
Guests may use the Lodge or Cabin as long as they are accompanied by a MVR member during daylight hours. MVR members are allowed to use the buildings during daylight hours unless otherwise noted. Buildings are available overnight for a small fee to the MVR club members upon request.
How many miles of trails are there?
There are currently 26 miles of trails & 10 miles of truck trails. And, we continue to develop more.
Are trails well marked?
All trails are well marked. We offer the “All Trails” mapping app [insert link to app].
What is the trail difficulty level?
There are a few fairly easy trails, but most trails are technical with rocks, stumps & mud.
Can I host an event?
Absolutely! We are open to hearing your ideas to utilize our property. Please e-mail us at Moosevalleyriders@gmail.com
How much parking do you have?
We have over 10 acres of “field” type parking lots to accommodate cars, trucks, trailers, campers, etc.
Do you have restrooms?
We have several port-a potties located in popular areas, including a handicap unit.
Do you allow overnight camping?
Certain pre-scheduled events allow overnight camping. All MVR members are allowed to camp overnight in designated areas.
Do you have provisions in case of serious injury?
We have carefully designed Moose Valley to allow emergency vehicle access through “Safety Way”, Hartland & Johnson Road, as well as two approved emergency helipads located on each side of the recreational area.
Do you offer MVR apparel?
Yes, you are welcome to purchase here online or during certain events at Moose Valley Recreation Area.
