OVERVIEW:
MOOSE VALLEY REC AREA
The Moose Valley Recreation Area is also called Moose Valley Ranch. This approximately 360-acre area
has been engineered specifically for convenience and safety for all of us that utilize this property for our
own particular interests (ex. off-road riding, driving, airsoft, etc.).
The area is two and a half miles from the Eastern to Western boundaries and consists of an Eastern area
and Western area.
For safety and convenience, there is a registered and approved emergency heliport on the far Eastern
boundary of the property with excellent access off of “Safety Way” to all trails which are south of
“Safety Way”. “Safety Way” is a maintained dirt road designed for emergency and authorized vehicles.
There is also a registered and approved emergency heliport in the Western area of the property located
in the center of “The Track”. “Johnson Road” offers convenient and safe access to all trails, which are
North of “Johnson Road” in the Western area.
Moose Valley Ranch currently consists of 26+ miles of trails for off road
motorcycles, ATV’s, snowmobiles, UTV’s, etc. and currently 10+ miles of off-road truck trails.
The trails range from fairly easy to difficult. This offers a variety of challenging trails based on your
comfort level; whether you are driving, riding a truck, ATV, snowmobile or UTV. There are also
challenging rock crawling “truck sections” if this is your preference.
Moose Valley Riders Club Membership
Moose Valley Rider Members (MVR Club) may also enjoy exclusive use of two buildings on the property as
allowed by the MVR Club. The “Moose
Lodge” is located on the Eastern boundary and the “Beaver Cabin” on the edge of a beaver pond on the
Eastern side of the Western area off of “Hartland Road”. Exclusive MVR members also have free access
to a vehicle washing station during warmer weather located behind the “Moose Lodge”.
All potential exclusive MVR Club Members must be invited and sponsored by an existing MVR Club
member in good standing. MVR Club Membership allows member access to Moose Valley Ranch
anytime of the year (except during special events) as long as any snow has been cleared for parking. The
cost for annual exclusive MVR Club Membership is a parking fee on the property of $365.00 per year per
family (living under the same roof). Annual membership starts on September 1 st and runs through August 31 st,
every year. Please see Membership Rules and Regulations and Waivers for more detailed information. If interested
in becoming an exclusive MVR Club Member, please e-mail Scott Seitz at moosevalleyriders@gmail.com
There are several field type parking areas that could accommodate over one thousand cars or trucks. Camping is
allowed in these areas under certain circumstances. Fire rings and fire wood are available to purchase
when local fire codes allow.
Moose Valley Recreational Area offers a variety of off-road adventures, as well as an expansive and diverse MILSIM area for airsoft events; we realize that it can also be used for many more outdoor activities. Some may include:
-
